Quality Control Engineer – BI & Power BI Testing

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer with strong expertise in software testing and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. The role focuses on testing Power BI dashboards, validating data pipelines, and ensuring data integrity across BI reports.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for integration, migration, regression, and performance testing of Power BI solutions.
• Validate data transformations, models, and accuracy across Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to verify data pipelines and maintain data consistency.
• Identify, record, and track defects; lead prioritisation of testing activities across teams.
• Work with project managers to schedule test cycles and provide regular status updates.
• Participate in the full SDLC within Agile environments, including UAT creation and execution.
• Support end‑user training workshops and post‑implementation functional support.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality control and testing, especially with BI solutions.
• Hands‑on experience testing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data pipelines.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure.
