Research Product Governance Analyst – IB

About the role

The role sits within Deutsche Bank Research’s Business Controls & Supervisory Analyst team, overseeing the governance of global research products. You will ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies while introducing AI to streamline the publication process.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate research reports, make independent decisions and implement changes to meet regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Oversee the global product governance framework for Research, collaborating with analysts, management, control functions and other divisions.
• Introduce Artificial Intelligence tools into the governance process to improve quality and reduce time‑to‑publish.
• Monitor workflow, prioritize documents for review and ensure timely publication.
• Communicate effectively with research analysts, product managers, compliance and legal teams to identify and resolve potential conflicts.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory changes and adapt processes accordingly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience as a supervisory analyst (Series 16 qualified).
• Strong written and oral communication skills at native‑English level.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to translate them into practical guidance for analysts.
• Proven judgment to balance risk management with commercial pressures and to implement necessary changes.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask across IT platforms and adapt to evolving business needs.
