Reservations Supervisor

About the role

The Reservations Supervisor ensures the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes while delivering Marriott's service standards to guests and new employees.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail, verifying availability, rates, and policies.
• Communicate guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies, accommodate special requests, and document guest needs.
• Input and access data in the reservation system, set up billing accounts, and troubleshoot guest issues.
• Train, schedule, counsel, and motivate staff, serving as a role model for fair treatment and open‑door policies.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information, and uphold company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related reservations experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.

Required skills

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to read and verify information in various formats.
• Physical ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
