Resident Engineer - Civil (Airport Projects)

About the role

The Resident Engineer provides on‑site engineering supervision and technical oversight for civil and structural works in large, complex airport projects, with a focus on cargo facilities. The role ensures construction complies with drawings, specifications, safety, and contractual requirements while coordinating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee all civil/structural construction activities on site.
• Monitor compliance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project schedules.
• Review shop drawings, technical submissions, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies, interface conflicts, and technical issues.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, airport security, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and airport authorities, and prepare site reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience on large building projects, including airport cargo facilities.
• At least 10 years of experience on major international airport projects.
• Proven resident engineering and construction supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, quality assurance, and contract specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
