Room Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Mondrian Doha. Working under the guidance of the Executive Housekeeper, you will ensure that guest rooms and associated areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service bedrooms, bathrooms, and all associated areas according to hotel hygiene standards.
• Make beds daily with fresh linen, remove creases, dust furniture, and fully clean bathrooms.
• Replenish guest supplies, stationery, and VIP gifts each day.
• Record serviced rooms, report any rooms that cannot be serviced, and handle “Do Not Disturb” or double‑locked rooms appropriately.
• Dispose of rubbish and dirty linen correctly and ensure proper handling of guest property.
• Maintain equipment in good condition, report faults, and follow key‑signing procedures.
• Assist floor supervisors with plant watering, stocktaking, and special cleaning projects.
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints promptly, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Ability to work under supervision and follow detailed cleaning procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Reliability in reporting shortages, damages, and equipment issues.
