Sales Executive

About the role

The Hotel is seeking a proactive Sales Executive to drive new business across corporate, government, leisure, airline, travel trade and wholesale segments. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective clients, promoting the hotel's rooms, meeting spaces, restaurants and ancillary services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in targeted market segments.
• Conduct sales calls, client meetings and site inspections to showcase hotel offerings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, contracts and negotiate rates within approved pricing guidelines.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Revenue Management, Front Office, Banquet Operations and Marketing to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate client records and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer requirements.
• Participate in trade shows, networking events, exhibitions and sales missions.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales activity reports and ensure timely follow‑up on inquiries.
• Resolve client concerns promptly and meet individual sales targets contributing to departmental revenue goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel sales, business development or a related commercial role.
• Proven experience handling corporate, government, leisure or travel trade accounts.
• Experience in client acquisition, account management and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with the local hospitality market and an existing business network is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
