About the role

Join Compass International School Doha as a Secondary Art Teacher on a maternity‑cover basis. You will deliver a bespoke curriculum built on the English National Curriculum, preparing students for IGCSE examinations and further study. The role involves inspiring students to explore artistic concepts while fostering a supportive and energetic classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons for secondary‑level students in line with the English National Curriculum and IGCSE requirements.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and track progress toward examination outcomes.
• Incorporate innovative teaching practices and resources to enhance student creativity and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.
• Engage with parents and the broader Nord Anglia Education network to support student development.

Required profile

• University degree in Art or a related specialist subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification obtained through a face‑to‑face programme.
• Considerable teaching experience, preferably at secondary level.
• Strong communication and motivational skills to create an energetic classroom atmosphere.
• Ability to meet Qatar visa requirements, including possession of the required academic credentials.
