Secondary School Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Secondary School Teacher to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will inspire students, deliver high‑quality lessons up to KS5 and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons aligned with the school’s scheme of work.
• Assign and monitor homework in line with school policies.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to track progress, set targets and inform future teaching.
• Provide regular oral and written feedback, encouraging students to act on it.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments and student progress.
• Undertake pastoral duties and support student wellbeing.
• Participate in curriculum, administrative and pastoral meetings.
• Attend parent meetings prepared to discuss achievement and wellbeing.
• Engage in professional development and training opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a similar role.
• Degree related to the subject being taught.
• Experience working in the UK, USA, South Africa, Australia or Canada.
• Desirable: PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching licence.
