About the role
Provide comprehensive secretarial and clerical support to the department, handling time management, staff supervision, correspondence and general office duties. The role ensures smooth daily operations and assists the line manager with administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external visitors and manage communications for the line manager.
- Draft, type and route correspondence, prepare memos, workflows and other documentation as directed.
- Organise and retrieve data from SAP, Microsoft Access and other corporate systems, updating records as needed.
- Maintain the manager’s diary, prepare meeting materials and ensure the manager is ready for scheduled appointments.
- Identify and resolve issues on behalf of the line manager to keep the department running efficiently.
- Support travel arrangements, including complex itineraries and venue bookings.
Required profile
- Secretarial Diploma.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with a recognised organisation.
