Senior Analyst – Commercial Business Intelligence

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Commercial Business Intelligence (CBI) team in Doha. Reporting to the Manager CBI, you will support the implementation of the network revenue strategy by analysing past trends and future outlook, delivering insights and recommendations across the airline’s network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis to identify incremental revenue opportunities across the QR network.
• Provide insights on point‑of‑sale, traffic flows, distribution channels and customer segments.
• Monitor network profitability and recommend performance improvements.
• Analyse the competitive environment and assess QR’s positioning.
• Support commercial projects aimed at improving RASK.
• Design and build next‑generation reporting tools for the commercial department.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Regional CBI, Corporate Planning and Sales teams to focus on key performance indicators.
• Conduct complex analyses such as network expansion, connectivity, and route deep‑dives, and create reusable templates.
• Train junior staff in analytics, tools and modelling.
• Assist senior management with ad‑hoc analysis, research, projects and presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in commercial analytics or business intelligence.
• Strong analytical mindset with strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, using a top‑down structured approach.
• Experience deriving insights from data and delivering actionable recommendations.
