Senior Compliance & Safety Engineer (Qatari National)

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking a Senior Compliance & Safety Engineer (Qatari National) to join its Group Risk, Safety & Security team in Doha. The role ensures that aircraft maintenance standards meet QCAR and EASA Part‑145/147 requirements and drives the development of the Safety Management System within the CAMO and MRO environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead occurrence report investigations, verify corrective actions and provide safety performance reports.
• Review regulatory changes and update technical procedures, manuals and registers (MOE, TPM, ASL, LSM, CAME, MTOE, RAC).
• Liaise with QCAR, EASA and other regulatory authorities on compliance matters.
• Prepare and review Compliance and Safety Notices, leaflets and authorisation queries.
• Maintain and develop the Safety Management System, covering Safety Policy, Risk Management, Assurance and Promotion.
• Analyse safety data trends and promote safety initiatives across the organisation.

Required profile

• Qatari national with a strong safety mindset.
• Extensive experience in aviation compliance, CAMO and MRO operations.
• Proven ability to lead investigation teams and manage corrective actions.
• Excellent knowledge of QCAR Parts 145, M, 147 and EASA Parts 145, 147.
