Senior Contracts Manager

About the role

An experienced Senior Contracts Manager is sought to join a team in Qatar. The role leads contract negotiations, oversees contract execution, manages contractual risks and disputes, ensures compliance with contractual, legal and organisational requirements, and drives cost optimisation and effective contract management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations and finalise favourable contractual agreements.
• Oversee contract execution, administration and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks, disputes and claims.
• Monitor contract budgets, financial performance and cost control.
• Track contractual deliverables, performance and KPIs.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and implement best practices.
• Support HSE initiatives in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a relevant supervisory position.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC contracts, tender requirements and contract conditions.
• Good understanding of Qatar Construction Standards and commercial principles.
• Professional certification in FIDIC or chartered membership with a recognised body such as CIOB or RICS is preferred.
• GCC experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• SAP/ERP knowledge.
• Strong contract negotiation, administration and management skills.
