Senior Data Science Consultant - Cards Marketing Analytics

About the role

Neostats Analytics, a data and analytics firm founded in 2022 with headquarters in the UAE and bases in India and the UK, is looking for a Senior Data Science Consultant focused on cards marketing analytics to join its team in Qatar. The role uses advanced analytics and predictive modeling to drive marketing strategies for credit and debit card portfolios, delivering actionable insights to client teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build predictive models to identify customer targeting opportunities, grow spend, improve retention and reduce churn.
• Develop customer segmentations for credit and debit card portfolios to support lifecycle marketing, campaign strategy and personalization.
• Analyze campaign performance across segments, products, channels and customer behaviors.
• Design test-and-learn frameworks, including control groups, campaign measurement logic and post-campaign reviews.
• Work with client teams so that analytical outputs are practical, explainable and ready for business use.

Required profile

• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics or analytics consulting.
• Strong banking experience, especially with credit card and debit card products.
• Proven expertise in marketing analytics, predictive modeling, customer segmentation, campaign analytics and portfolio analytics.
• Ability to communicate analytical results to business stakeholders and present to senior levels.
• Experience with marketing, product, risk and data teams in a banking environment; consulting discipline with structured problem-solving and timely delivery.
• Comfortable working as a contractor on a client-facing engagement in Qatar.
• Preferred: current location in Qatar, exposure to card lifecycle analytics, campaign management platforms, CRM or marketing automation tools, A/B testing, uplift modeling, next-best-action, offer optimization or customer lifetime value models, and knowledge of cloud data platforms.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, SAS and SQL, with hands-on experience on large banking datasets such as customer profiles, card transactions and campaign history.
• Statistical modeling, machine learning, model validation and performance tracking.
