Senior QA QC Engineer

About the role

The Senior QA QC Engineer will lead quality assurance and control activities across construction projects, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, ISO 9001 standards, and client requirements. This role involves coordinating inspections, audits, and corrective actions while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor QA/QC activities across construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Review and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements and Quality Plans.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and quality audits.
• Monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Support internal, external and client audits.
• Maintain QA/QC records and prepare quality reports.
• Assist the QA/QC Manager in achieving quality objectives and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10+ years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry, with mandatory Qatar construction experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (mandatory) and a valid Quality Management certification.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, QA/QC systems, inspections, ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, CAPA, audits and quality documentation.
• Proven experience coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors and project teams.
