Senior Reservoir Engineer

About the role

This is a three‑year renewable contract position responsible for leading Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) studies, modelling, and implementation to increase field production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead data acquisition programs and technical studies for EOR maturation.
• Develop, build, and maintain reservoir simulation models using Eclipse and IX for EOR projects.
• Mentor junior engineers on EOR modelling techniques and strategies.
• Coordinate external studies and third‑party contractors to support EOR de‑risking and deployment.
• Provide high‑quality presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of reservoir engineering experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to EOR.
• Proven ability to work independently and make technical decisions without supervision.
• Strong communication and networking skills to engage across the organization.

Required skills

• Eclipse reservoir simulation software.
• IX simulation tool.
• Enhanced Oil Recovery techniques (polymer, surfactant, WAG).
• Low‑API/permeability EOR applications.
• Data acquisition and analysis (fluids, SCAL, well testing, logs, cores).
