Senior Safety Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Safety Specialist to develop, implement and maintain the Safety Management System for a VVIP operator in the Middle East, focusing on both fixed‑wing and helicopter operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the organisation’s Safety Management System in line with regulatory and helicopter‑specific frameworks.
• Conduct investigations of technical incidents, maintenance occurrences and helicopter events, identify root causes and manage corrective actions.
• Design and deliver SMS‑related training, including e‑learning content and helicopter modules.
• Perform hazard identification, risk assessments and maintain the Risk Register.
• Support technical audits, inspections and safety reviews across aircraft and helicopter operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Safety or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of aviation safety experience with exposure to technical operations.
• Experience in technical investigations, safety data analysis and SMS implementation.
• Knowledge of ICAO Annex 19, SMS principles and risk management practices.
