Senior Sales Manager – Outside Catering & Events

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Sales Manager to lead our Outside Catering & Events business at Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, building client relationships and delivering innovative event solutions for corporate and private customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in outdoor catering and events.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners and key decision‑makers.
• Lead, mentor and manage the events sales team, providing guidance on techniques and performance.
• Prepare detailed proposals, quotations and contracts aligned with client requirements.
• Conduct site visits and consultations to understand client needs and present customized solutions.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure seamless event execution.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and market opportunities.
• Manage sales pipelines, forecasts and CRM data, tracking leads and conversions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and service agreements while maintaining profitability.
• Prepare regular sales reports and performance metrics for management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in outdoor catering, events management or related hospitality sector.
• Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of outdoor catering services, event logistics and planning coordination.
• Excellent client relationship management and consultative selling abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing a sales team.
• Fluent English with strong communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
