Senior Security Assistant

About the role

The Senior Security Assistant supports the Senior Security Officer and Site Security Officer in managing all security activities at the company’s site and facilities. The role ensures smooth day‑to‑day security operations, protects site access, and steps in as the acting officer when required.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and supervising the Security Team to meet customer requirements.
• Supervise main gate, fence checks, and periodic inspections of all entry points.
• Monitor car‑park conditions, signage, and vehicle access.
• Control material movements in and out of the premises.
• Patrol fences and gates, conduct risk assessments, and update them regularly.
• Prepare survey reports and recommendations for the Senior/Site Security Officer.
• Participate in security studies, investigations, and improvement projects.
• Maintain main barrier gate and turnstile through coordination with trades.
• Ensure security staff receive role‑specific training and conduct refresher sessions.
• Operate CCTV, alarm systems, and access‑control equipment.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews; keep incident logs and patrol records up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum Higher Secondary School (12 years) education.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar security role.
• Relevant security training courses.
• Good proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office proficiency.
