Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS)

About the role

The Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) will oversee the implementation and removal of Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) on road structures, ensuring compliance with QPRO and Ashghal standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise TTM implementation and removal in line with QPRO and Ashghal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with approved Traffic Diversion Plans and work‑zone safety standards.
• Coordinate daily with site engineers, TTM subcontractors, consultants and relevant authorities.
• Conduct daily inspections of traffic arrangements, maintain safety records and support maintenance activities on bridges, flyovers, underpasses and tunnels.
• Monitor lane closures, traffic diversions and night‑shift operations.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of relevant traffic management experience.
• Strong knowledge of QPRO, TTM procedures and Ashghal standards.
• Experience on Qatar highway maintenance projects is preferred.
• Relevant STMS/traffic management certification where applicable.
• Good communication, coordination and reporting skills; valid Qatar driving licence preferred.
