SOC & Security Platform Analyst – Dubai/Qatar

About the role

Command Post is looking for a hands‑on SOC & Security Platform Analyst to work on‑site with enterprise customers in Dubai and Qatar. The role blends security operations, incident investigation and the engineering of SIEM/SOAR platforms to support modern, AI‑assisted cyber‑defence.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, investigate and respond to security alerts across endpoints, networks, cloud services and applications.
• Conduct structured investigations, document findings and recommend remediation actions.
• Develop, tune and maintain detection rules, use cases, dashboards and SOAR playbooks.
• Onboard and normalise log sources, ensure data quality and platform health.
• Collaborate with customer security, network and cloud teams to resolve technical issues and improve monitoring coverage.

Required profile

• Practical experience in a SOC, managed security service or security engineering function.
• Strong understanding of alert triage, incident investigation and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Ability to work independently on‑site while communicating clearly with analysts, engineers and stakeholders.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Dubai or Qatar.

Required skills

• Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM or XSIEM
• Microsoft Sentinel
• Elastic Stack / ELK or OpenSearch
• LogRhythm, ArcSight or other enterprise SIEM/SOAR platforms
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and XDR technologies
• Python, PowerShell and API scripting for security automation
• Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework
