Telecommunications Commissioning Engineer - Offshore

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Telecommunications Commissioning Engineer to lead and execute offshore commissioning activities for a range of ELV and telecom systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commissioning of CCTV, Access Control, Environment Monitoring, PAGA, VHF/UHF Communication, Networking and OTN systems following approved procedures.
• Perform system configuration, functional testing, integration and interface checks to ensure seamless operation with Telecom and other project systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networking and system integration during commissioning.
• Conduct inspections and testing to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, standards and client requirements.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, test reports, punch lists, inspection records, as‑built documents and system handover dossiers.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, vendors, subcontractors and client representatives to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in telecom and ELV system commissioning, preferably on on‑shore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Valid TBOSIET and H2S certifications.

Required skills
