About the role

The Training & Quality Manager will lead the development and implementation of Kempinski’s training standards across all departments of the hotel in Doha. This role combines strategic planning, hands‑on coaching, and quality assessment to ensure a consistent guest experience aligned with the Kempinski brand.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a hotel‑wide training network that follows Kempinski standards, including operational immersion.
  • Analyse training needs, monitor training effectiveness, and ensure corporate Training BITE modules are fully implemented and adapted to hotel policies.
  • Expand the Training BITE Library by supporting departmental trainers in creating hotel‑specific content.
  • Embed Kempinski training programmes, track participation, and evaluate attendance.
  • Plan, design, and deliver training programmes and develop a training marketing strategy for both back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house teams.
  • Analyse e‑learning platform data and promote its use to improve learning performance.
  • Coach managers and departmental trainers to raise departmental performance.
  • Coordinate learning for EXCOM and HODs in line with Individual Development Plans.
  • Organise Kempinski DNA and brand immersion activities.
  • Collaborate with department heads to analyse quality performance using KEA and ReviewPro, providing remedial training solutions.
  • Train and develop the internal training team, identify Master Trainer candidates, and ensure monthly reporting.
  • Prepare the annual training department business plan and budget, conduct self‑audits, and promote corporate training policies.
  • Build relationships with external training providers, suppliers, and safety entities.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in establishing training networks and delivering hotel‑focused learning programmes.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training needs, effectiveness, and quality performance.
  • Ability to coach managers, develop trainers, and lead cross‑functional training initiatives.
  • Experience preparing budgets, business plans, and regular performance reports.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to Kempinski’s core values.

Required skills

  • Familiarity with ReviewPro quality assessment tool.
  • Experience using the Kempinski Experience Assessment Tool (KEA).
  • Proficiency with e‑learning platforms and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Kempinski Training BITE methodology.
