Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician provides ground handling and servicing for aircraft arriving and departing from a Southwest Asia base, supporting U.S. Air Force and coalition missions in a high‑tempo, austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking, grounding and positioning in accordance with Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute arrival and departure services, including turn‑around ground handling tasks and support for launch/recovery operations.
• Inspect and service ground support equipment, maintain tool accountability, and participate in FOD prevention activities.
• Document servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists while communicating hazards and issues to supervisors.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• 3–5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or transient aircraft services.
• Hands‑on flight‑line experience with ground handling procedures.
