Vacuum Truck Operator

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Vacuum Truck Operator in Doha within the oil and gas sector. The operator runs and inspects Super Sucker vacuum trucks and carries out vacuuming work on plant equipment, machinery, bunkers, confined spaces and work-at-height areas.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and inspect Super Sucker vacuum trucks and related equipment.
• Perform vacuuming activities on plant equipment, machinery, bunkers, confined spaces and work-at-height areas.
• Assess work areas and risks before starting operations and follow PTW requirements.
• Operate vacuum systems safely from start to completion.
• Ensure collected materials meet specifications and are properly disposed of.
• Maintain safe working practices and respond to emergencies.
• Perform basic equipment checks and support truck maintenance.

Required profile

• High school or technical diploma/certification.
• At least 3 years of operational experience, preferably in the steel industry.
• Experience operating Super Sucker vacuum trucks in manufacturing or complex production plants.
• Valid Qatari heavy vehicle driving licence.
• Valid PTW, fire fighting and defensive driving certifications.
• Basic English reading and writing skills.
• Ability to work in harsh environments, confined spaces and under pressure.
