Vendor Coordinator

About the role

Saipem is seeking a Vendor Coordinator to join the Commissioning Department of the COMP2 project. You will act as the main liaison between vendors, commissioning engineers, construction, and QA/QC teams to ensure smooth site execution and successful start‑up of systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate vendor mobilization, call‑outs, and on‑site activities in line with the commissioning schedule.
• Serve as the single point of contact for vendors, commissioning engineers, construction, and QA/QC.
• Ensure vendor presence during FAT/SAT, loop checks, functional testing, and system start‑up.
• Align vendor schedules with system priorities and commissioning sequences.
• Track vendor readiness, including documentation, manpower, tools, and consumables.
• Verify vendor documentation such as test procedures, calibration certificates, manuals, and data sheets.
• Monitor vendor performance versus schedule, maintain logs, and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Support vendor‑related administrative tasks: timesheet validation, invoice coordination, and budget tracking.
• Identify and resolve technical gaps, interface conflicts, and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 2–7+ years of experience on EPC Oil & Gas projects.
• Hands‑on exposure to commissioning, pre‑commissioning, and vendor coordination during SAT/start‑up.
• Proficiency in English.
