Vice President, International Treasury – Money Market

About the role

The Vice President, International Treasury – Money Market will lead the Group’s Money Market desk for international operations, ensuring cost‑effective execution aligned with QNB’s strategy, risk appetite and regulatory framework. Reporting to senior treasury leadership, the role combines oversight of daily market activities with strategic development of the desk.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all Money Market activities across QNB’s international operations, ensuring compliance with budgets, policies and delegated authorities.
• Assist in the implementation of annual business plans, targeting growth and expansion of the International Money Market desk.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and best‑practice processes to maximise performance efficiency and cost consciousness.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal units, external clients and key international entities requiring money‑market services.
• Provide accurate information to auditors, compliance and risk functions as required.
• Ensure service level agreements are met, improving turnaround times for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in treasury or money‑market functions within a multinational banking environment.
• Proven ability to manage teams, drive performance and implement strategic initiatives.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management and budgeting processes.
• Excellent communication skills for building internal and external relationships.
