Waiter/Waitress – City Centre Rotana Doha

About the role

We are seeking energetic and self‑motivated Food & Beverage professionals to join our team at City Centre Rotana Doha. As a Waiter/Waitress you will deliver professional, discreet and personalized service, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages in line with the hotel’s performance standards.
• Greet, seat and attend to guests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the outlet’s menu to advise and upsell guests.
• Monitor food and beverage quality throughout service.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
• Uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards in the dining area and service equipment.
• Prepare the outlet before, during and after service (mise‑en‑place and mise‑en‑scene).
• Minimise waste, breakage and spoilage.
• Apply upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage.
• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a high‑volume restaurant.
• Strong command of English.
• Passion for people and service, positive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a busy environment.
• Competencies: adaptability, customer focus, recognizing differences, taking responsibility, teamwork, understanding the job.
