Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

Nord Anglia International School Al Khor (NAISAK) in Qatar is looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to manage the day-to-day accounts receivable activities. The officer receives and processes cash, cheque and electronic payments from students, parents and staff for tuition fees, extracurricular activities, school events and field trips.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process cash, cheque and electronic payments from students, parents and staff for tuition fees, extracurricular activities, school events and field trips.
• Work closely with internal departments, suppliers and the finance team to ensure efficient payment processing and maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time, and help maintain the accuracy and efficiency of the finance function.

Required profile

• Preferably under husband/family sponsorship.
• 2+ years' experience in the finance department.
• Detail-oriented, organized and proactive, with strong numerical skills and a high level of integrity.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and to handle confidential financial information professionally.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and accounting principles.
• Confident use of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel, able to identify discrepancies and resolve queries.
• Analytical, communication and time-management skills.
