Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

Nord Anglia International School Al Khor (NAISAK) in Qatar is looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to manage the day-to-day accounts receivable activities. The role covers receiving and processing cash, cheque and electronic payments from students, parents and staff for tuition fees, extracurricular activities, school events and field trips.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts receivable activities and process payments from students, parents and staff.
• Work closely with internal departments, suppliers and the finance team to ensure efficient payment processing.
• Maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of the finance function.

Required profile

• Preferably under husband/family sponsorship.
• 2+ years' experience in the finance department.
• Detail-oriented, organized and proactive, with strong numerical skills and integrity.
• Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and accounting principles.
• Confident use of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, resolve queries and process transactions accurately and on time.
