Aircraft Mechanic - Fluid Analysis

About the role

We are looking for an Aircraft Mechanic specialized in Fluid Analysis to join our maintenance team in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on analysing hydraulic fluids and engine oil to support aircraft operational requirements, ensuring compliance with company and manufacturer procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment such as Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) analyzers, particle counters and titration devices on aircraft hydraulic and oil samples.
• Perform fluid analysis in accordance with ISO 17025 quality standards.
• Interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, AMM and manufacturer instructions to determine appropriate testing and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety and equipment operating procedures as defined by manufacturers.
• Document test results and communicate findings to shop supervisors and engineers.

Required profile

• High School/Vocational Diploma with at least 3 years relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years experience.
• Minimum 5 years of certifying experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Degree, diploma or licence in Aircraft Maintenance.
• Basic ICAO Type II licence and relevant trade certificates.
• At least one year of practical experience in a similar technical environment.

Required skills

• Operation of ICP analyzers, particle counters and titration equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 laboratory quality requirements.
• Aircraft hydraulic fluid and engine oil analysis techniques.
• Ability to read and apply Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) and manufacturer instructions.
• Adherence to safety and airworthiness regulations.
