Aircraft Mechanic – Nacelle Shop

About the role

The Aircraft Mechanic – Nacelle Shop will deliver aircraft maintenance services to support operational requirements in Doha. You will work under supervision, ensuring all tasks comply with company, customer, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing using approved tools and equipment.
• Inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, and assemble aircraft components and structures.
• Carry out sheet‑metal and composite repairs on inlet cowls, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhaust components.
• Execute major structural repairs such as lip‑skin replacement, doubler repairs, and bonded panel replacements.
• Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, drawings, and technical publications.
• Test aircraft systems and components to identify and rectify defects.
• Maintain safety, quality, and workshop standards at all times.

Required profile

• High School/Vocational Diploma with at least 3 years relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years experience.
• Degree, diploma, or recognized licence in Aircraft Maintenance.
• Basic ICAO Type II licence.
• Hands‑on experience with sheet‑metal and composite repairs, especially inlet cowls, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhaust components.
• Experience in major structural repairs (lip‑skin, doubler, bonded panel).
• Trade‑related certifications or OEM component training.
