Applications & DevOps Consultant

About the role

The Applications & DevOps Consultant will lead post‑sales activities, translating evolving customer needs into scalable on‑premises or cloud solutions. You will work closely with business, development and infrastructure teams to modernize applications and migrate data to Azure or Google Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Run and manage proof‑of‑concepts (POC) and respond to RFPs, driving opportunities from presales through implementation.
• Architect highly available, scalable application solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Implement DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment pipelines.
• Analyze existing on‑premises environments, design migration strategies, and execute data‑storage and process‑function optimizations.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to select optimal cloud services and create road‑maps for application modernization.
• Utilize ARM templates, Azure Policy, Blueprints and related tools for integrated deployments.
• Contribute to internal R&D projects and community initiatives while ensuring compliance with security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in cloud database migration, presales or post‑sales consulting.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL databases and cloud migration projects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and Google Cloud Platform.
