Applications Specialist – SharePoint

About the role

The Applications Specialist – SharePoint will support Mowasalat’s digital transformation by managing and optimizing SharePoint environments across the organization. The role ensures seamless document management, workflow automation, and user adoption while maintaining high standards of security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer SharePoint sites, permissions, libraries, and content structures.
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain workflows using Power Automate and SharePoint tools.
• Support business process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure proper document control, versioning, and metadata management.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint users.
• Design and deliver training programs to boost user adoption.
• Support intranet portals, collaboration sites, and departmental workspaces.
• Gather user requirements and coordinate platform enhancements.
• Maintain access, permissions, and security governance, protecting confidential data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in SharePoint administration and collaboration platforms.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft SharePoint Certification, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals.
