Architect – Project Coordination

About the role

SYSTRA is seeking an Architect to join its project team in Qatar. The role focuses on coordinating design activities, ensuring consistency across disciplines, and facilitating clear communication between internal teams, clients, and external consultants. You will work closely with the Senior Architect to deliver complex, multidisciplinary transport projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Architect in day‑to‑day coordination of design activities and deliverables.
• Act as a liaison between architecture and structural, MEP, civil, and systems disciplines to produce fully coordinated design packages.
• Track design submissions, responses, and approvals to meet project schedules.
• Review and compile inputs from various disciplines before client submission, verifying completeness and consistency.
• Participate in coordination and technical meetings, document decisions, and follow up on actions.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and design review materials for clients.
• Manage comment tracking (e.g., DRS) and documentation control related to architecture.
• Ensure design outputs comply with project standards, codes, and authority requirements.
• Maintain accurate tracking of architectural and multidisciplinary deliverables.
• Identify and resolve coordination issues early through collaborative effort.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in architectural coordination or multidisciplinary project environments.
• Valid Qatar MMUP Grade A in Architecture.
