Assistant Director of Food and Beverage

About the role

A luxury hotel in Doha, Qatar is looking for an Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. This is a senior operational and commercial F&B leadership role supporting the Director of F&B in overseeing all outlets and ensuring consistent delivery of Forbes Five-Star service standards. The ideal candidate has proven multi-outlet experience across fine dining, casual venues, bars, banquets and in-room dining, with a hands-on approach and a passion for team development and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Director of F&B in overseeing food and beverage operations across fine dining, casual venues, bars, banquets and in-room dining
• Ensure consistent Forbes Five-Star service standards across all outlets and functions
• Lead, develop and inspire outlet managers and their teams, building a high-performance F&B culture
• Drive revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction across the F&B division
• Support budgeting, forecasting and P&L management to achieve financial targets
• Oversee menu development, promotions and outlet programming with the culinary team
• Step into the Director of F&B role and take full operational ownership during absences
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management on commercial performance

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of progressive F&B leadership experience in luxury hospitality
• Hands-on Forbes Five-Star property experience
• Proven multi-outlet experience across fine dining, casual venues, bars, banquets and in-room dining
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in budget management, revenue strategy and P&L oversight
• Exceptional leadership, communication and guest relations skills
• Experience in the Middle East is an advantage but not required
