About the role
The Assistant Manager will support QNB's Cyber Security Strategy and Product Management function, focusing on vendor contracts, product licensing, and budget oversight for the GIS portfolio. This role ensures that all software assets remain properly licensed and that financial performance aligns with the bank's objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and manage vendor contracts and product licensing for GIS solutions.
- Maintain a budget ledger, monitor SLAs, and analyse budget variances.
- Oversee the GIS software procurement process and licensing lifecycle.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process, including capital and operating forecasts.
- Participate in contract negotiations and ensure value‑for‑money outcomes.
- Implement KPIs and best practices for cyber security strategy and product management.
- Collaborate with the Senior Vice President Group Risk Project Management on budgeting and performance monitoring.
Required profile
- Proven experience in vendor management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of cyber security strategy and product lifecycle management.
- Ability to negotiate contracts and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
