About the role

The Assistant Manager, People & Culture will support the HR function of Rixos Qetaifan Island North, ensuring smooth administration, employee satisfaction, and compliance with legal and internal standards. This role works closely with department heads, finance, and external partners to deliver HR services across the resort.

Key responsibilities

  • Anticipate and respond to employee needs to boost satisfaction.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all company information.
  • Administer accurate HR processes to meet statutory and internal audit requirements.
  • Manage personnel files for hiring, transfers, promotions, resignations, and data updates.
  • Supervise remuneration guidelines and coordinate with finance for payroll and related matters.
  • Oversee departmental timesheets, monthly reports, and leave balance summaries.
  • Coordinate annual performance evaluations for all staff levels.
  • Administer medical insurance and flag any irregularities.
  • Lead recruitment activities in partnership with department heads.
  • Arrange travel logistics through the hotel’s travel agency.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover patterns.
  • Organise social and leisure activities for employees.
  • Assess workplace atmosphere and suggest improvements.
  • Manage indirect reports and ensure effective internal and external communication.
  • Attend meetings, draft minutes, and adapt to evolving requirements.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of HR management experience.
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR management systems.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law, labour regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Proven experience in recruitment and selection processes.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
