Assistant Manager - Revenue

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Revenue will support the development and execution of the department’s strategy, ensuring accurate revenue and cost accounting in line with company policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The role works closely with cross‑functional leadership to embed best‑practice processes and drive digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and align revenue and cost policies with strategic objectives and IFRS requirements.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, re‑engineering processes and introducing digital solutions to increase efficiency.
• Assist business units in pricing policy development and revenue stream analysis.
• Produce insightful revenue and cost reports to support timely decision‑making.
• Maintain and update accounting manuals, SOPs, and service‑level agreements for the revenue accounting function.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to revenue accounting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on complex transactions and new product introductions.
• Oversee business planning, budgeting, and preparation of revenue, cost of sales, and gross profit forecasts.
• Ensure statutory compliance for audits, tax, and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory provisioning, impairment assessments, and coordinate annual physical counts.
• Supervise accurate payments to principals and reconcile related transactions.
• Mentor and develop direct reports, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in revenue accounting or related finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional leadership.
• Leadership capability to mentor and develop team members.
