Auto Electrician

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Auto Electrician in Doha within its fertilizer business. The role covers diagnosing and repairing the electrical and electronic systems of vehicles, from basic faults to ECU programming and hybrid/electric systems.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults in vehicles, including starting, charging, lighting and ignition systems.
• Install, repair and maintain electrical systems and components such as batteries, alternators, starters and wiring harnesses.
• Use diagnostic scanners, multimeters and oscilloscopes to read fault codes and analyse live data.
• Repair and programme ECUs and other electronic control modules.
• Install and troubleshoot aftermarket accessories such as car audio, alarms, GPS trackers and reverse cameras.
• Inspect and repair airbag, ABS and other safety and comfort systems.
• Perform electrical repairs on hybrid and electric vehicles following high-voltage safety protocols.
• Replace fuses, relays, sensors and switches as needed, following wiring diagrams and technical service bulletins.
• Provide accurate estimates and explain repairs to customers or service advisors.
