Avionic Junior Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an Avionic Junior Supervisor to lead a team of technicians in detailed maintenance of aircraft electrical systems. Reporting to the Avionics Junior Supervisor, you will apply your expertise on Typhoon aircraft and ensure all work complies with the organisation’s regulatory and quality frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed maintenance and inspection of air electric bay components following approved work packages and technical data.
• Diagnose, rectify and document faults on electrical assemblies, ensuring configuration management is respected.
• Supervise and guide less‑experienced team members, providing training and oversight in a dynamic operational environment.
• Maintain personal task authorisation and logbook in line with QAF requirements and record all maintenance actions on airworthiness systems.
• Report progress against delivery targets, raise ad‑hoc work cards for found faults, and support facility compliance activities such as tooling control and oversight checks.

Required profile

• Experienced avionic technician with a solid understanding of the Typhoon approved data set.
• Competent to supervise personnel and ensure maintenance is carried out under the regulatory framework.
• Strong analytical ability to diagnose equipment faults and follow diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and provide guidance to junior staff.
