BIM Engineer - Roads & Infrastructure

About the role

KEO, an award-winning architecture and project management consultancy, is looking for a BIM Engineer to join its team in Doha, Qatar. The role supports 3D design models and develops, manages and coordinates BIM models for roads, highways and related infrastructure works, generating 2D drawings from models, performing clash detection and ensuring coordination across disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM implementation within the roads/infrastructure discipline and manage the project BIM/CAD team, including QA/QC of models and drawings.
• Assist with BIM deliverables, model federation, clash detection reports, BIM quality control plans and design reviews, and support asset management BIM implementation.
• Develop and manage 3D models for roads, highways, earthworks and drainage using Civil 3D and other relevant tools.
• Run internal clash detection and generate 2D drawings (plans, profiles, cross-sections, details) from BIM models.
• Support BIM Execution Plans, lead BIM standards, modelling workflows and digital delivery, and provide software troubleshooting.
• Create templates and libraries, train modelers and oversee their onboarding, and act as the link between the BIM Management team and the project design team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• More than 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years on roads/highways/infrastructure projects.
• Clash detection, model coordination and multidisciplinary BIM workflow experience.
• Gulf experience and knowledge of Qatar's infrastructure projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Autodesk Civil 3D, Infraworks and Navisworks.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 or similar international BIM standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
