Biomedical Sales Engineer

About the role

Promedic is looking for a motivated, results-driven Biomedical Sales Engineer to join its team in Qatar. The role suits someone with a strong background in medical equipment sales, healthcare projects, technical proposals and business development within the Qatari healthcare market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities, carry out market analysis and build relationships within the healthcare sector.
• Manage hospital modernization projects, from reviewing technical documentation to submitting competitive technical and commercial proposals.
• Evaluate medical equipment specifications and ensure compliance with Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) regulations and import requirements.
• Coordinate and negotiate with international manufacturers and regional suppliers to secure competitive pricing and technical solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, tender submissions and bid packages.
• Maintain relationships with hospitals, contractors, consultants, biomedical departments and procurement teams.
• Monitor sales pipelines, track upcoming healthcare projects and update manufacturers and management regularly.
• Support annual sales forecasting, revenue planning and achievement of sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2-5 years of proven experience in biomedical equipment sales or medical equipment project sales.
• Currently residing in Qatar.
• Good knowledge of the Qatari healthcare market, hospital procurement processes and medical equipment tenders.
• Familiarity with Qatar MoPH regulations, medical device compliance and import procedures.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills; able to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
