BMS Technician – Building Automation & HVAC

About the role

We are seeking experienced BMS Technicians to join our facility management and building automation projects in Qatar. The role covers installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems and HVAC controls.

Key responsibilities

• Configure BMS systems for HVAC, lighting and building services.
• Perform wiring of sensors, actuators, controllers and control panels.
• Conduct system testing, commissioning and functional verification.
• Monitor HVAC equipment (AHU, FCU, chillers, ventilation) through the BMS.
• Track alarms, trends and overall system performance.
• Maintain daily operation logs and reports.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in BMS and HVAC systems.
• Repair and maintain DDC panels, sensors, controllers and wiring.
• Work with communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
• Ensure proper preventive and corrective maintenance of BMS installations.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, HVAC, Instrumentation or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a BMS Technician.
• Gulf region experience is mandatory.
• Experience in facility management or commercial building maintenance preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems and HVAC controls.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus and DDC systems.
• Effective troubleshooting and technical reporting abilities.
