Business Data Architect

About the role

Power International Holding is looking for an experienced Business Data Architect to design, develop and maintain a governed data platform that supports enterprise project reporting and decision‑making across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain dimensional data models, fact tables, dimensions and semantic layers for enterprise reporting.
• Build and operate automated ETL pipelines integrating data from SAP, Primavera P6, CPCO, DAMAS and external sources, with scheduling, incremental loading and failure recovery.
• Implement data quality, reconciliation controls, validation rules and end‑to‑end lineage documentation.
• Develop governed Power BI data models, DAX measures, row‑level security and support AI‑enabled analytics.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture or business intelligence, with ownership of production pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management and audit readiness in construction/EPC environments.
• Practical experience using AI tools to build, test or monitor data pipelines and detect anomalies.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL (CTE, window functions, merge/upsert, optimisation).
• Power Query (M) and DAX expertise.
• Dimensional modelling, data warehousing and semantic layer design.
• ETL orchestration (incremental loading, scheduling, monitoring).
• Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory or equivalent platforms.
• Integration experience with SAP and Primavera P6.
• Python for data manipulation and version‑control practices.
• AI fluency for pipeline automation and anomaly detection.
