Business Development Officer – Doha

About the role

BM Events is seeking a proactive Business Development Officer to expand its B2B client base across Doha and the wider Qatari market. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities in the events, hospitality and corporate sectors, driving revenue growth through direct outreach and relationship building.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new B2B clients, targeting event organizers, hotels, venues, exhibition companies and corporate brands.
• Generate leads via LinkedIn, cold calling, email outreach, networking and market research.
• Research upcoming events, exhibitions and hospitality projects to uncover staffing opportunities.
• Arrange and conduct face‑to‑face meetings, presentations and site visits with prospective clients.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and negotiate commercial terms to close deals.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve assigned business development targets.
• Coordinate with operations and management teams to ensure client requirements are met.
• Travel across Doha and other Qatari locations for client meetings and site visits.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, B2B sales or client acquisition.
• Strong understanding of the Doha/Qatar B2B market and existing contacts in events, hospitality or related sectors.
• Proven ability in lead generation, LinkedIn outreach, cold calling and closing deals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Valid Qatar driving licence; personal car preferred for regular client visits.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
