Cards Analytics Specialist

About the role

Our client, a global cards and payments firm working with a leading bank in Qatar, is looking for a Cards Analytics Specialist to embed analytical expertise within the Cards Product and Portfolio teams. The role will drive data‑driven decision‑making across the full cards lifecycle, from acquisition to profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and deliver recurring and ad‑hoc performance dashboards covering acquisition, activation, spend, revenue, delinquency, attrition and profitability metrics.
• Conduct deep‑dive portfolio diagnostics and segmentation analysis by product, channel, customer cohort and vintage to uncover performance drivers and growth opportunities.
• Design and execute pre‑ and post‑campaign measurement frameworks, including control‑group methodology, ROI calculation and response‑rate analysis.
• Provide structured analytical support to Cards Product, Portfolio, Marketing and Risk teams through insight packs, business cases and scenario analyses.
• Identify opportunities to improve data integrity, automate recurring reports and enhance self‑serve analytics capabilities.
• Own the daily/weekly/monthly cards portfolio performance reporting suite, ensuring timely and insight‑rich output for leadership.
• Develop and maintain interactive visualisations using Tableau or Power BI to enable stakeholders to self‑serve key metrics.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in cards or portfolio analytics, or business intelligence within banking, payments or related financial services.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that support strategic and tactical decisions.
• Strong experience in performance reporting, segmentation, cohort analysis and campaign effectiveness measurement.
• Demonstrated track record of improving data quality and automating analytical processes.
