Chief Growth Officer

About the role

The organization is seeking a visionary Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to shape and execute its strategic growth agenda, drive foreign direct investment (FDI) initiatives, and lead international expansion across priority markets. This senior executive will act as the key catalyst for attracting investment, forging global partnerships, and unlocking sustainable growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall growth and expansion strategy for the organization.
• Lead FDI attraction efforts, including investor targeting, engagement, and conversion.
• Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships with global institutions, investors, and corporations.
• Originate and manage large‑scale, cross‑border investment opportunities and transactions.
• Position the organization in key international markets to increase investment inflows and global presence.
• Collaborate with government and regulatory bodies to strengthen the investment ecosystem.
• Provide strategic oversight of M&A activities, joint ventures, and capital deployment.
• Represent the organization at high‑level international forums and investor platforms.

Required profile

• 20+ years of senior leadership experience in international financial institutions, investment organizations, or multinational corporations.
• Proven track record in attracting, promoting, and executing FDI initiatives.
• Extensive exposure to European and other major global markets.
• Experience engaging with boards, executive committees, government entities, and C‑suite stakeholders.
• Bilingual capabilities in Arabic and English are highly preferred.
