Chief Investment Officer

About the role

We are conducting a confidential search for a highly accomplished Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead the investment strategy, portfolio management, and product development of a growing investment platform. The CIO will oversee a diversified multi‑asset portfolio and drive the creation of innovative investment products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s multi‑asset investment strategy, including public equities, fixed income, private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure and alternatives.
• Lead strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction, performance monitoring and risk management.
• Design, structure, launch and manage investment products tailored to institutional, family‑office and high‑net‑worth investors.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, operations, finance and distribution teams to bring products to market and support fundraising.
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, lead due‑diligence, and manage external managers and strategic partners.
• Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing investment team while fostering a culture of performance and innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA, MSc Finance, Economics) preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, FRM highly desirable.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive investment management experience with proven multi‑asset portfolio expertise.
• Strong track record in investment product structuring and fund formation.
