Civil Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

The Civil Site Engineer will oversee daily construction activities on‑site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and in full compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications and GCC construction regulations. This role is essential for delivering infrastructure and construction projects on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise ongoing construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.
• Verify that all work follows approved drawings, technical specifications and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones and ensure timely task completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections to uphold quality, safety and compliance.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports for management review.
• Optimize use of materials, manpower and site resources to maintain efficiency.
• Identify, analyse and resolve technical and operational issues on‑site promptly.
• Ensure full compliance with company procedures and GCC construction regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Civil Site Engineer on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in GCC projects is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, site coordination and project lifecycle execution.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Capability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities in dynamic on‑site conditions.
