Client Accountant – SME Portfolio (Doha)

About the role

The Client Accountant will join our Doha office to manage a portfolio of SME clients, ensuring their financial data is accurate, timely, and reliable. Working with an automated, cloud‑based platform, you will act as the primary point of contact for client queries and support senior advisors during client meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor accounts for a portfolio of SME clients, verifying data processed through our platform.
• Perform and review bank reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Check the integrity of client financial data, flagging discrepancies for resolution.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for senior advisory review.
• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding accounts and reporting.
• Assist senior advisors in preparing for and following up on monthly client meetings.
• Help ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Located in Doha or willing to relocate for on‑site work.
• Professional certification (CMA) or progress toward one is a plus.
